“Movement is a medicine for creating change in a person’s physical, emotional and mental states”
- Carol Welch
Are you frustrated that you can no longer do the activity you love?
Has a constant niggle or pain resulted in you feeling discouraged or depressed?
Have you tried many different treatments with short term results?
Do you regularly rely on painkillers and rest?
My goal is to help you get back to doing what it is you love doing.
I use exercise as my main mode of therapy to treat orthopaedic injuries, chronic diseases and lifestyle diseases.
Whether you’ve had a past injury or accident that has slowly led to compensations or have taken on a new activity which has challenged your body and niggles are creeping in, your story provides the clues when it comes to rehabilitation and getting you back to your optimal health.

I believe in treating each person as an individual and not using a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Treating the root cause
Although people may present with the same symptoms, each person I treat has a different story. The problem lies in prescribing generic exercises for an injury as this tends to result in little to no improvement.
When treating the symptoms, you may experience initial pain relief but over time your injury can rear its head again. So when you return to your activity, you are most likely still using compensations.
I treat each of your injuries uniquely by listening to your story to determine the root cause or source of the injury and prescribing a bespoke rehab plan specific to you.
Your rehabilitation plan
Your rehab plan will depend on what it is you want to get back to doing. Someone wanting to participate in a triathlon will likely have to do more intensive rehab than someone wanting to walk their dog comfortably for an hour each day.
It’s important that the rehab is bespoke to you and that it gradually exposes you and your body to the demands that will be placed on you.
